PACIFIC OCEAN

The Pacific Ocean is the largest ocean in the world. It is so large that it is larger than all the landmasses combined. In addition to being the largest ocean, it is also the deepest ocean in the world. Its maximum depth is 11,000 meters, which it reaches in the Mariana Trench.

LET'S GET TO KNOW IT BETTER

The largest ocean basin is the Pacific Ocean. Occupying nearly 32% of the Earth's surface, the Pacific covers 165,250,000 square kilometers (63,800,000 sq. mi), and about 46% of the Earth's water surface.

It extends from the western coasts of North, Central and South America to Oceania, Asia and Russia in the north and contains approximately 30,000 islands divided between the regions of Polynesia, Melanesia and Micronesia.

The Pacific also connects to the Indian Ocean basin near the Strait of Malacca, Sumatra, and to the Atlantic through the Strait of Magellan and the Drake Passage. Its maximum latitudinal extent reaches 19,000 km (12,000 mi) between the coast of Colombia and the Malay Peninsula.

DIVING
AND
SNORKELING

The Pacific Ocean is one of the most popular destinations for diving and snorkeling, thanks to its great expanse and biodiversity.
We can find everything from diving along the coast that differentiates between coral reefs and coral reefs to sightings of dolphins, manta rays, sharks, whales and much more.
All this combined with a temperate water temperature and almost always optimal visibility.
Mexico, Australia, Chile, French Polynesia are just some of the magnificent places to explore in this immense sea.

Philippines

The Philippines offers diving for all levels and no matter what your experience in the water, you will surely be spoiled for choice.

Shore diving with abundant macro life, drives divers and photographers from all over the world crazy.

For lovers of large pelagics too, the Philippines will leave you breathless as they are practically the only islands in the world to permanently host the thresher shark.

Wreck diving is another paradise and Subic Bay offers divers a dive into World War II.
