INDIAN OCEAN
The Indian Ocean is the smallest of the oceans but it touches three continents
(Africa, Asia and Oceania) and the Antarctic waters to the South.
The undisputed protagonist is undoubtedly the CORAL REEF
which manifests itself in different “guises” based on our destination!
We put on a mask, fins, snorkel/regulator, take a deep breath and…
LET'S DIVE INTO THE BLUE!
LET'S GET TO KNOW IT BETTER
The Indian Ocean offers great surprises to the most attentive observers!
The friendly fins who choose Indian destinations will have to be astute observers!
In fact, we are immersed in a sea of animals that we often do not notice! From a ripple on the surface to a slight movement
on the sand, from a fin shining in the blue to a walking "algae", we are constantly observed by curious and circumspect eyes.
Let's learn to observe friendly fins of what surrounds us:
We will discover how and where to look for the inhabitants of the reef, the periods of passage of the migratory birds, we will discover
who are those who, jumping happily at the bow of our boat, will welcome us to the Indian Ocean!
DIVING
AND
SNORKELING
Diving
Always one of my favorite destinations, the Indian Ocean is very varied: if you think about it Friendly Fins we go from the crystal clear waters of the Maldives, with islands of sand and palm trees to the real mountains of Mauritius, to the rhythm of music of Madagascar with savannah, rainforest and desert.
Even in the sea these differences are noticeable, that's why it's difficult to define which is the most beautiful sea!
However, the Indian Ocean can certainly surprise us, varying from diving with sharks and manta rays in the Maldives, to the splendid coral reef of Madagascar, to diving in kelp at the extreme tip of Africa.
All very suggestive dives that are worth trying!
Snorkeling
Any coast of the Indian Ocean is suitable for snorkeling, both from the shore and by boat we will have the opportunity to come into contact with the most incredible and rare creatures on the planet.
In the Maldives we can snorkel with the whale shark and coastal manta rays.
In Madagascar we can meet the whale shark in the migratory season and live the wonderful experience of swimming with giant green turtles.
The coral reef grows lush everywhere.

RED SEA
Between the African and Asian coasts, a very narrow and long gulf opens up: the Red Sea.
Everything you could ask for from a tropical sea, the Red Sea offers it! Here, the coral reef reigns supreme just a few steps from the shore!
This is the ideal place for all frindly fins: divers and snorkelers, beginners or already experts!
The long pier that connects the beach to the coral reef allows us to comfortably enter the blue and be enchanted by the quantity of fish around us.
The vertical structure of this coral reef gives us special emotions precisely because on one side we have the busy life of the reef and on the other
we have the predators of the blue!
So Friendly Fins, always stay alert because you never know who can come to visit us!

MADAGASCAR
Continuing towards the eastern African coast we encounter places of rare beauty with a harmony between the crystalline blue of the ocean and the bright green of the vegetation… Madagascar is one of these!
The fourth largest island in the world, contains a UNIQUE marine and terrestrial biodiversity: the animals and plants that are found here are not found anywhere else in the world. We are talking about chameleons, lemurs, many reptiles and amphibians, but above all marine flora and fauna, including rare molluscs with amazing shells!
This alone is worth the price of admission! But if that's not enough...
Madagascar is also an important passage area for migrating humpback whales and whale sharks at certain times of the year.
MALDIVE
THE KINGDOM OF SHARKS AND MANTAS
The coral reef attracts many predators such as SHARKS which, despite their fame, are very shy and do not willingly approach humans... White tip sharks, black tip sharks, grey reef sharks, whale sharks, are just the appetizer of the encounters that can be made around the atolls!
Even MANTAS, graceful and vain dancers, gather in large numbers around the Maldivian islands at different times of the year, day and night...
Swimming face to face with a whale shark or side by side with a manta ray or even seeing with your own eyes the elegance of the top predators is a SUPERLATIVE emotion... Don't miss it and fin with us learning about the right places for sharks, the right periods for manta rays and how to approach them! Follow us!

INDONESIA
BALI
At the edge of the Indian Ocean that bathes the southern coast, we find BALI, an Indonesian island, which offers spectacular landscapes between its forested volcanic mountains, the typical rice paddies, the temples and our beloved coral reef.
Bali is also known as the Island of the Gods, but its underwater life makes it a wonderful destination for divers.
A great variety of scuba diving sites that are home to everything from enormous manta rays to small pygmy seahorses.
In the northwest, brilliant coral reefs and steep walls reign to explore. Along the northern and eastern coasts, you will find muck environments, which are increasingly fascinating the world of diving.
