MADAGASCAR
The fourth largest island on Earth
It is home to 5% of the world's animal and plant species, 80% of which are endemic to Madagascar.
The seabed is rich in fish, coral and marine plants, both in the south (especially in the coral reef to the southwest, between Anakao and Morombe) and in the north (in the area of Nosy Be)
LET'S GET TO KNOW IT BETTER
A truly special island, grown alone since the dawn of time and for this reason UNIQUE IN ITS KIND!

SNORKELING
WHAT TO SEE?
Madagascar is simply pure magic in and out of the water. I spent a lot of time on the island of Nosy Be and I assure you Friendly Fins that there is no need to get bored, let's start:
Snorkeling at the Nosy Tanikely marine park full of hawksbill turtles, corals and the largest biodiversity of fish in the north-east of Madagascar.
Snorkeling with giant green turtles on the island of Nosy Sakatia, these never-extinct dinosaurs live in dozens in this large bay characterized by meadows of marine plants, with a seabed around 2-3 meters deep, easy and wonderful for all levels of experience.
Snorkeling with the whale shark: one of the few places in the world to come into contact with the largest fish in the world. More than six hundred whale sharks have been counted in migration between the end of September and December in the waters of Nosy Be alone.
What can I say?
Being able to swim alongside this gentle giant, appreciating its delicacy and elegance, is simply a unique emotion, do not be intimidated Friendly Fins and throw yourself in search of this extraordinary animal, the experience will mark you forever.

DIVING
WHAT TO SEE?
Diving in Madagascar and more specifically in Nosy Be is done on this large coral plateau that ranges between 15 and 30 m alternating with shoals of rare beauty and ending with an oceanic step, the oceanic step of the Mozambique Channel.
One of the most fish-rich stretches of sea in the world as well as one of the few places where it is possible to observe reef sharks.
To make sure we don't miss anything we also have a fascinating wreck: the Mitsio wreck, a small shrimp fishing boat, (it doesn't sound very inviting to call it that) but Friendly Fins is so full of fish that you can't even see it until you're a few meters away.
Crocodile fish, stone fish, frog fish, snappers of all kinds, octopuses and nudibranchs are just a small fraction of the biodiversity of this place with a thousand surprises
WHALE
WATCHING
One of the experiences that has remained in my heart: the encounter with humpback whales in the period between July and the end of September. Who are these giants of the ocean? But above all…
What is whale watching?
Let's not stop to think that they are only whales, with whale watching we group together the sighting of cetaceans in general and, in Madagascar there are really many: bottlenose dolphins, striped dolphins, Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins and the rare Omura's whale. Going to sea in Madagascar is always a surprise!

NOSY BE
Around the “Great Earth” there is a constellation of smaller archipelagos of volcanic origin, the most famous of which is Nosy Be:
